Also, she recently performed a duet with her late namesake, her pal Demi Lovato got a little too up close and personal with her Peruvian fans, Lady Gaga angered some pearl-clutching conservatives in South Korea with her show's gayness, and Chris Brown's breeding career is off to a rocky start.
• Selena Gomez really, really likes cupcakes. The singer recently posted an Instagram shot of herself baking sweet treats with Taylor Swift, which must have inspired the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show crew to assemble a beautiful assortment of yummy cupcakes for Gomez's appearance on the show Thursday.

Maybe she picked this look up from Taylor Swift. Regardless, the warm, gooey spot in my heart for her just squealed.
• Selena will be featured on Enamorada De Ti, a new tribute album honoring Selena Quintanilla Perez. The singer gushed about the opportunity to record on the same track as the woman after whom she was named:
