Loadshedding continues across Pakistan

LAHORE: The electricity shortfall has decreased in the country and currently stands at 3,000 MW. However despite the decrease there has been no relief for people as unannounced loadshedding continues to plague their lives.
Several cities across the country are experiencing power outages of up to fourteen hours while in rural areas the duration is close to twenty hours.
According to PEPCO officials, Hydel generation is 3,474 MW, Thermal is 1,763 MW while IPPs are generating 6,277 MW.
